We loved you so much that we were delighted to share
with you not only the Gospel of God but our lives as
well, because you had become dear to us.

Last June we were fortunate to have Katie staying with us, as family gathered for Anna’s graduation. On Sunday morning the house was busy, a line for the one shower, all trying to be ready to attend church. In my time-casual manner I said to the group, “the first 20 minutes or so is just worship music, we have some slack”. Katie’s sweet response, sitting on our couch all ready to go, was simply, “I loooove worship”. That morning and ever after I have had a renewed sense that yes, a worship service is about worshipping God, not about punching my attendance ticket, what I get from the message, or the socialization. I will remember her remark, and dedicate myself to getting to church ON TIME, ready to WORSHIP. And the singing of worship music will forever remind me of her. Thank you for this gift, Katie.
